1939 First Flotilla in
Northeast Wisconsin; 01
WW11 Flotilla 01 became a U.S. Coast Guard Reserve
Group with part time officers.
1955 Flotilla 01 Reactivated.
Public Education classes began. Gerald Mabie was our first
enrolled member.

1955 Flotilla patrols Milwaukee
Winnebago Marathon Races from 1955 to 1966.

1977 Flotilla member Cyril Bertram and
fellow members receive Certificate of Appreciation from Admiral of
U.S. Coast Guard for work on Lake Winnebago.
1991 Flotilla members Tom Grebe,
Patrick Whealon and Wayne Geis
received U.S. Coast Guard Award of Operational Merit for a dramatic nighttime recovery of 2 men lost overboard in stormy seas
in August 1989.
2005 Flotilla member Tony Perez receives
Dedicated Auxiliarists Traveling Award from Division 04 Flotilla
Commanders.
2005 Flotilla member Flossie Mabie retired after 34
years as an 01 member.
Flotilla 01 members have held various District and Division Staff
offices.
